|Everbuild Everflex 335 Construction Silicone (Grey) is a reactive curing silicone sealant that forms a weather-tight, rubber-like seal while remaining permanently flexible. It cures quickly to minimize dirt pick-up, making it an excellent choice for various sealing applications.USES:Cladding, trim, and PVCu profile sealing.Circular pointing at metal, wood, and PVCu window and door frames.Weathersealing formwork and pre-formed panels.Glass to glass and glass to aluminium weathersealing systems.Cap glazing and sealing repaired glazing.Comprehensive draughtproofing.BENEFITS:Faster curing time than traditional low modulus sealants.Low dirt pick-up.Flexible with a 20% movement allowance.Contains strong antifungal properties to prevent mould growth.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and dust-free. Remove all previous sealant, mastic joints, and any loose or flaking surface coatings. For best adherence, clean glass, metal, and aluminium with a solvent cleaner before application. For painted surfaces, wipe with white spirits; for PVC, use Everflex PVC Solvent Cleaner. Testing small areas before full application is recommended.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Not suitable for use with asphalt or bitumen. Use Weather Mate instead.Avoid using on soft metals like lead; opt for Lead Mate Sealant.Prime or use Silicone 450 on very porous surfaces like fresh concrete.Do not use on materials that could leak solvents, oils, or plasticisers.Avoid using near or with double-glazed unit edge sealant; use Silicone 450.For plastic and uPVC components, always perform an adhesion test prior to use due to material variations.For best adherence with significant thermal movement, use Silicone 450 or HM60. This product supports 20% joint width movement.Use Silcone 450 or HM60 for applications requiring a higher mobility factor.
