|Everbuild Puraflex 40 (Black) is a high modulus, one-component PU sealant and adhesive that adheres strongly to most substrates. It provides excellent mechanical resistance, resistance to most common chemicals, and can be overpainted when cured. This versatile sealant is ideal for metal and container sealing, marine applications, and various automotive and engineering uses. Additionally, Everbuild Puraflex 40 is solvent-free, boasting Very Low Emissions (EMICODE EC 1PLUSR).USES: Everbuild Puraflex 40 is ideal for sealing and bonding metal panels and trim, as well as expansion joint sealing in concrete panels and floor joints. Suitable for sealing in environments subject to vibration and mechanical abrasion. Applicable in a multitude of sealing and bonding tasks across construction and engineering sectors. Utilised in container fabrication. Effective in high traffic floor joints found in locations like garage forecourts, warehouses, factory floors, sports arenas, and shopping centers. BENEFITS: Bonds effectively to concrete, wood, metal, aluminum, polyester, glass, uPVC, stone, ceramics, etc. Can be overpainted with both gloss and emulsion, as well as oil and latex paints. Offers good sea water resistance. Specifically designed as an easy flow flooring grade for all concrete saw cuts and floor slab expansion joints, where abrasion resistance is essential.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and dust-free. Remove any loose or flaking surface coatings, and old sealant and mastic joints, before application. Clean glass, metal, and aluminum with a proprietary solvent cleaner to achieve optimum adhesion. Always ensure adequate ventilation when using solvents and avoid heat, sparks, and open flames. Puraflex 40 black is not recommended for application to surfaces below 5 degrees celsius. Priming may be necessary on porous substrates like concrete using Sika Primer 3N. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Not suitable for substrates that may bleed oils, solvents, or plasticisers.
