|Everbuild Anti Pick 109 (White) is a one-part, chemically-curing pick resistant sealant, utilising advanced Everbuild Hybriflex technology that combines the best features of silicone and polyurethane. This sealant is specifically designed to resist finger picking, providing a stronger seal compared to traditional sealants where minor movement accommodation is necessary.USES:Ideal for secure environments such as prisons and hospitals.Perfect for municipal and public areas.Suitable for perimeter sealing of doors and windows.Effective for joints in heavy cladding.BENEFITS:Offers excellent impact and wear resistance.Specifically resistant to finger picking.Primerless adhesion to most surfaces, including metals, plastics, and glass.Superior resistance to chemicals and petrol (10% dilute acids, alkalis, most solvents).Can be overpainted with certain paints (compatibility test recommended).Applicable on damp surfaces.Boasts high mechanical properties.Approved for use on various projects by the Home Office, National Offender Management Services, and Ministry of Justice.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Priming is generally unnecessary, but if in doubt, use a suitable primer as directed, especially for joints that will be immersed or require high movement capability. For mortar and concrete, use Sika Primer 3-N. On non-porous substrates, Sika Aktivator 205 may be used. Ensure all surfaces are clean and dust-free. Preliminary adhesion tests are recommended before full-scale application. Surfaces can be damp but should not have standing water.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Adhesion and overpaintability trials are advised before full-scale application. It is the users responsibility to determine suitability; contact the Technical Services Department if in doubt. Yellowing may occur in predominantly dark conditions.
