|One component, high modulus PU sealant and adhesive Everbuild Puraflex 40 (Grey) sticks firmly to most substrates. When cured, it can be overpainted and offers outstanding mechanical resistance as well as resistance to most common chemicals. This multipurpose sealer works well in marine, automotive, and technical applications as well as metal and container sealing. Its Very Low Emissions (EMICODE EC 1PLUSR) and solvent-free nature are other advantages.USES:Everbuild Puraflex 40 is perfect for expanding joint sealing in concrete panels and floor joints as well as bonding and sealing metal panels and trim.Ideal for sealing in vibration- and mechanically-abrasive-prone areas.Relevant to many sealing and bonding jobs in the engineering and construction industries.Used in container construction.Working well in high traffic floor joints found in places like factory floors, warehouses, garage forecourts, sports arenas, and retail malls.BENEFITS:Bonds well to metal, polyester, glass, uPVC, stone, ceramics, concrete, wood, and so on.Paints in latex and oil as well as gloss and emulsion can be applied over it.Provides good resistance against sea water.Made especially to be an easy flow flooring grade for all concrete saw cuts and floor slab expansion joints where abrasion resistance is critical.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure every surface is dust-free, dry and clean. Before application, remove any old sealant, mastic joints, or loose or peeling surface coatings. For best adherence, clean glass, metal, and aluminium with a special solvent cleaner. When handling solvents, always make sure there is enough ventilation, and stay away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Application of Everbuild Puraflex 40 on surfaces below 5 degrees celsius is not advised. On porous substrates, such as concrete, priming with Sika Primer 3N may be required.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Not appropriate with substrates that could bleed plasticisers, solvents, or oils.Never use on bitumen or asphalt.Before applying paints fully, do a test as some could exhibit surface cracking and poor movement tolerance.PTDSIKDIRINDPU40GY
