|Superior acrylic sealant Everbuild Bath & Kitchen Sealant is made to seal well in bathrooms and kitchens. This Bath & Kitchen Sealant is perfect for general use around kitchen worktops, baths, sinks and other ceramics. It adheres to a wide range of surfaces, including timber and PVCu frames, and it also contains a strong fungicide to prevent mould growth. Its ability to remain constantly flexible enables it to tolerate the typical movement and vibrations in these locations. It can be overpainted to suit your decor when it has hardened.USES: Coating kitchen worktops and other surfaces. Sealing inside window and door frames made of PVCu, metal and wood. Sealing all around sinks and baths and other sanitary equipment. BENEFITS: Adapting to the vibrations and motions of the installation area, permanently flexible. Very good adhesion on most surfaces. Offers resistance to mould for a hygienic and cleaner surroundings. Simple maintenance; may be cleaned with a moist cloth.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Every surface needs to be clear of peeling materials, dust, and dirt. New plaster and other highly porous surfaces should be primed with Everbuild PVA bond, diluted with water 1:4. Applications can be made on somewhat damp surfaces, but they shouldn’t be soaked. When cutting the cartridge tip, attach the nozzle and cut for application at a 45 degrees angle. For optimal effects, use a regular sealant gun while keeping the pressure and angle constant. Within twenty minutes after application, smooth the sealant using a finger or damp spatula. One can remove extra sealant with warm water and a sponge. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Make sure the sealant is kept dry for at least 24 hours after application. Not to be used near shower trays or with bitumen or asphalt. Though its not required for performance, overpainting should wait until a surface skin emerges. Overpainting should be done carefully since some paints have a limited flexibility and may crack.
