|Perfect for fire-rated applications, Everbuild Everflex AC95 Sealant is a high-strength, permanently flexible acoustic sealant and adhesive. Easy-to-apply, this solvent-free, water-based mixture seals and bonds plasterboard and Kraft lined insulation boards. Offering up to four hours of fire-rated protection, AC95 Sealant also produces outstanding acoustic isolation that complies with ISO 140-3 requirements. Durability and safety are guaranteed by its non-flammable and mould-resistant characteristics.USES: Sealing openings in plasterboard walls, floors, and ceilings as well as in dry lining applications creates an efficient acoustic and fire-rated barrier. Works as an adhesive to fasten plasterboard to blockwork, metal studding, and wood among other surfaces. Ideal for glueing and sealing a range of Kraft lined insulating boards. BENEFITS: Offers up to 4-hour fire-rated acoustic barrier. With great adhesive strength, stays permanently flexible.Sticks to the most surfaces of buildings. Provides protection against the development of mould. Easy to wipe up after application and non-flammable.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Dust, loose objects and old sealants must all be removed from every surface. First prime with Everbuild 501 PVA Bond diluted with water for very porous substrates like fresh plaster. Surfaces can be a little moist but not wet, as this could impede the cure.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Conditions like dampness and humidity might prolong healing periods. Steer clear of abrasion after cure and wait to paint until it has completely dried usually 24 hours, but in bad weather up to 5 days. Not to be applied at temperatures below 5 degrees celsius.
