|Everbuild Lead Mate is a neutral cure, low modulus sealant designed to stick to soft metals like zinc, copper, brass and lead very well. Where typical mortaring of lead flashing and sheet into brick, stone, and concrete is not favoured, this novel sealer is perfect. USES: Perfect as a substitute for mortar in the installation of lead sheets and flashing. Ideal for sealing expansion joints. Works well to seal joints and weatherproof pre-formed panels. In applications for roof and parapet weather sealing, seals soft metals like copper and lead. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Get the surface ready. Dust, grease, and other impurities should be eliminated from surfaces, which should also be dry. Testing on a small area before to complete application is advised, even if priming is usually not necessary. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Do not use with bitumen, asphalt, neoprene, or any organic elastomers. Not recommended for substrates that could leach plasticisers, solvents, or oils.
