|Everbuild Everflex 450 Premium+ Builders Silicone Sealant is a top-tier, low modulus, non-corrosive neutral cure silicone that bonds effectively to virtually all surfaces, both porous and non-porous. This high-performance sealant boasts excellent resistance to plasticiser migration, making it compatible with both water-based and solvent-based paints. Its superior weathering properties ensure this product is ideal for diverse applications, including internal and external perimeter pointing around PVCu, wood, and all other window frames, as well as sealing and adhering to PVCu and plastic trims.USES: Effective for perimeter pointing around window frames of all materials. Bonds and seals on PVCu and plastic components. Complies with BS8000 Part 7 for bedding insulated glass units. Ideal for expansion joints and various weather sealing applications. Suitable for sealing soft metals like lead, copper, and zinc. General glazing, draughtproofing, and repair over existing sealant. Seals between glass and glass, and glass and aluminium. Use Everbuild PVC Solvent Cleaner for PVC surfaces, Everbuild Glass Cleaner for glass, or white spirits for painted surfaces to improve adhesion. Priming may not be necessary, but its advisable to test small areas. For optimal joint performance, maintain appropriate width and depth ratios, using EVERBUILD FIX AND FILL EXPANDING FOAM or a suitable joint backer rod for deeper joints. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Avoid use with bitumen, neoprene, certain organic elastomers, and surfaces that may bleed oils or solvents. Everbuild Everflex 450 is not suitable for painting over, manufacturing aquariums, or as a mirror adhesive.
