|Everbuild Everflex 335 Construction Sealant (White) is a reactive curing silicone sealant with a low modulus, curing quickly to minimise dirt pick-up. It forms a weather-tight, rubber-like seal while remaining permanently flexible.USES:Cladding, trim, and PVCu profile sealing. Circular pointing at metal, wood, and PVCu window and door frames. Weathersealing formwork and pre-formed panels. Glass to glass and glass to aluminium weathersealing system. Cap glazing and sealing repaired glazing. Draughtproofing. BENEFITS:Faster curing time than traditional low mod sealants. Low dirt pick-up. Flexible with +/- 20% movement allowance. Strong antifungal properties in the waterproof seal to prevent mould growth. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Ensure surfaces are dust-free, dry, and clean. Remove all previous sealant, mastic joints, and loose or flaking surface coatings. For best adherence, clean glass, metal, and aluminium with a special solvent cleaner before application. Wipe surfaces with white spirits (painted surfaces) or Everflex PVC Solvent Cleaner (PVC) to improve adherence. Testing small areas before use is always recommended.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Not for use in place of asphalt or bitumen; use Weather Mate instead.Avoid using on soft metals like lead; use Lead Mate Sealant.Prime or use Silicone 450 on very porous surfaces like fresh concrete.Not suitable for materials that could leak solvents, oils, or plasticisers.Do not use next to or with double-glazed unit edge sealant; use Silicone 450.For plastic and uPVC components, always perform an adhesion test due to the varying quality of these materials.For best adherence, use Silicone 450 or HM60. This Everflex 335 Sealant supports movement of +/- 20% of the joint width.
For applications requiring a larger mobility factor, use Silicone HM60 or Silicone 450. For perimeter pointing to G.G.F standards, use only Silicone 450 neutral cure.Overpainting is not possible; use Mirror Mate (internal or external use) or Waether Mate (external only) where overpainting is needed.PTDSIKDIR335WE
